Long Island Sound Architecture Tour

This is a photo post with images of homes along the north shore of Long Island, from Oyster Bay to City Island. If you are into architecture, this will be pretty interesting, if you are not, and want to see more sailing, jump to here.

These homes are created with many styles including Cape Cod-inspired (high pitched roofs with end gables),Post Modern (think Venturi), Tuscan Villa, and Colonial Revival. Some are gaudy (not Gaudi) while others are pretty amazing. Take a peek and dream for a moment about your next abode.
